Established in 1983, by first generation entrepreneur, Shri. Ashok Mehta along with Shri. Anand Mehta, Steelman came into existence as a trading house for Alloy, Carbon, Stainless and Special Steels from Kolkata.

With time and experience, we expanded our horizons from east to west by setting up a manufacturing hub in Pune, Maharashtra, by the name of KLM Forge Private Limited, an integrated unit which is equipped with Pneumatic Hammers, Heat Treatment Furnaces, Machining, Inspection and Testing facilities that qualify the forgings as per national and international standards.
